I have an English accent... how do i respond?!

Im english but living in the US, everytime i open a set im hit with the comments "where are you from"... etc. What is the best reply, ive tried loads, but just wondering if there was any better...

let me tell you a secret,(I know everyone can see it...)
as long as you don't care if you have the right answer,
you don't have to have the right answer.
just tell her what you the first thing that pops into you're head.
for example, from the back of my head.
she: where are you from?
me:(jk) well..why do you wanna know?
o, and btw there is no best answer, only the best answer for you.
which is what ever you want to say.(as long as you dont care how she might response to it).
That;s at least my opinion.
