Why did she not respond?
Here's the situation: with my alumni club at a bar this past Saturday from 11-2 watching a college basketball game. I thought the waitress was cute, flirted with her, and she flirted back. She seemed very interested and, after the game was over, wrote her email address down for me. I emailed her the next day. We went back and forth a couple of times and then I didn't respond to her latest one until this morning b/c I had gone to bed. However, she never responded back. In my last email I asked her if she worked downtown b/c I was then going to ask her to meet for a drink after work. I'm really at a loss here...Below is the text of the emails (goes from bottom to top):
ME: Watched the depressing Florida game and bar crawled back to my place.
So, do you work anywhere near downtown during the week, or are you full time at Rocks?
HER: Have a birthday party to go to. You? Sent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry®
ME: Of course. We're a good time even when we get our asses kicked.
Do anything exciting Saturday night?
HER: Not nearly as fun as it was with all of you Tarheels here! Sent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry®
You gotta slow down between replies, it is not an instant chat messenger, this is email and you have a life...every time she replies even within 10 minutes of you sending, you reply the next day...you send the msg at like 9 pm and assume in your mind that you're getting ready to go out now and have no time to be checking my email all the time, u get the pic?
You also gotta be a bit more playful and teasing with her...in any crazy way u want, so I'm sure u've had a great day today because your inbox had words that I typed in it :P
..when she said what are you doing? ohhh...you gotta slow down a little, we've just met each other and now you wanna know personal business :P
I know my examples have lameness in them, but if you get my idea you can work on your own teasy talks
and don't keep resending her if she doesn't reply, even if u wait a week, you just send smth lite like..hello anybody there?...I'm quite sure unless she is a psycho she will reply,because there is no reason to be stepping back from her interest without much going on so far..
the main thing is to keep high self confidence, and make her feel that vibe..and that you have a life that you enjoy out there..
