University advice

My name is Hugo and im 20. Im studying industrial ingeneering and i have some problems with my social circle, by the way i live in Peru so students dont get to sleep in campus, dam !

Ok so heres my problem, i have some friends and some female friends even very beatiful women. But the problem is that in my career there arent much women so its a small resource and i sometimes enter a a new class and dont know anybody, and id like to know more people, a whole lot of people, i signed up for one activity which is acting lessons but i can only enter in april so i will have to wait.

I only know how to start a small conversation by asking "how do get that solution ?". But it doesnt go very far, I ve tried to improve my social skills, think i can come up with nice convos, i do have some trainnin in pick-up, even nlp, but i want to know more people, what to say to start a conversation and keep them going for the rest of the class (u know openers dont fly in here either).
