Just how important are looks?
Hey Jdog,
I'm 18 years old and must confess that so far I have not had any success with women. So I've decided to improve that area of my life. I've been studying some of the material that's out there that teaches stuff like opening sets, transitioning, attracting, qualifying, building comfort and seducing (the stages model).
But I wonder: I'm not a good looking guy. I mean I'm trying to do things to make myself better looking, like dressing better, working out a bit, getting rid of my glasses etc. but the way my face is put together will stay the same (and I think I have a pretty unattractive, asymmetrical face). Do you think this could be a deal breaker? Or to put it differently: If I apply the knowledge that you and others put out there, do you think I could be successful with women despite my below-average looks?

According to all the experts in PUA, looks have nothing to do with it. Your attitude is where its at, you need to display that to women. I must say that I agree, looks have nothing to do with it, just keep yourself well groomed, dress well, and have a good attitude.
Hey some words of advice man... when u work out and stuff, start laying in a tanning bed, if ur weird about going because of the girl at the front desk of the tanning booths are always pretty hott or u dont have money or u feel really akward going, go to wal-mart and buy some bronzer! Being extemely well groomed helps and think about about or go get a GQ magazine for that killer hair look.... keep up with all this and in about a month or two looks WILL be a thing of the past look at some of my pics on my myspace.... Maybe that helped.

Looks jajajajaj i advise about what im going to say its going to seem like im showing off about what the looks can do to you becase it happens to me and i hate my self for it.
Well looks are NOT important im a good looking guy and thats bad for me i get lots more shit tests and i hate it but i can tell you that looks dosent matter why simple my girlfrieand toldme that shes with me becase im a good boy and i have it all The "PERSONALITY" I was surprised when she told me this so there you go .
