whats the best cologne in your option
I wear and recommend these. Cologne or Eau de Toilette are better than aftershave in my opinion, because after shaving a skin care product is best for your skin.. and the fragrance of the aftershave is not as good as in the cologne. For an aftershave cream or lotion I recommend a skin care item by dermalogica for example.

When you wear strong serious fragances, you could end up wearing what the girl's dad wears and that could play in your favor.
Yep.. there are so many.. basically you have to see which one gets you the most compliments. There is also some sneaky psychology about how women are attracted to men that wear the same cologne that their fathers wore when they were younger.. part of a woman's sexual psychological development. The Electra Complex, and "daddy issues", explains this, or in Freud's terms the feminine Oedipus attitude... I think.
I really prefer Joop, it's purple. I try to stick away from Hollister and American Eagle just because everyone uses it. You need to portray yourself as "different".
I wasn't a person who went around waring cologne until recently, but now have started to use it, I prefer the 212 For men that Jdog has mentioned, did try it while out shopping the other day so a case of smell before buy :) But think will try and purchase from Amazon, if they list it on the UK website, will check later as at work at present.
I personally use: puma white eau da toilette and hugo boss cologne... dont remember the type..... I really really like those two and I feel like me when I am using it :D I would recomend to you to try out puma... they've got serveral fresh and good eau da toilette.
I also know my brother uses adidas something which is very good. But what I recomend more to you to do. Go the a shop that sells colognes and get some samples and try out serveral before buying one. And you will be told by girls if they like it or not.... Or maybe not if they don't like it. People are often afraid to tell you when you are doing something wrong. So my advice is do not ask "how do you like my cologne" ... I mean at least not if you know you will get honest awnser :D
